Gwarzo local govt to collaborates with NGO's to Foster security development in the area

This was disclosed by director personal management of the local government Alh.Ibrahim Alkassim today during establish ment and inaugu ration of local conflict and alliance development committee held at Gwarzo local government Secretariat.
Ibrahim Alkassim added that this is a welcome due to proximity of Gwarzo local government with Katsina state.The local government will give the NGO,s full support and success of the committee will be ensured.
In his opening remarks the Executive Director Dispute Resolution and Development Initiative represented by Abdulbaki Muhammad stated that the programmet is aimed at strengthening community resilience against violence extremism in six local government in Kano State including Gwarzo,Nassarawa,Bichi,Tudunwada,Bebeji and Gwale local government.
Speaking at the occasion Director special service Kano State Habibu Abdu represented by head of special service unit Gwarzo local government Mal.Nazir Kabir Muhammad stated that the programme has the blessing of governor Abdullahi Ganduje and hope that it will impact positively in improving security of lives and properti es in Kano State.
On his part Project officer Action Aid Nigeria Aliyu Adamu highlight the roles and responsibilities of the newly inaugurated local conflict and alliance committee which includes devising modalities on how security will be imprloved and advocacy in the community.
In his remarks while inaugurating the committee the council chairman Of Gwarzo local government Eng. Bashir Abdullahi Kutama who was represented by his deputy Ibrahim Abdullahi Yawale thanks action aid Nigeria and dispute resolution and development initiative for thier timely intervention and call on the committee members to live up to thier responsibilities.
Members of the committee are: council chairman will serve as chairman while head of special service unit as secretary.Other members includes district head,civil defense,police,i,and immigration officer of the local government among others.
